When did you start competing with Our Diamond Miss?

I started competing with Our Diamond Miss when I was just two years old.

I am hoping to inspire the contestants to believe in their own potential.

What impacts do you hope to make on the contestants?

My goal is to help them see that confidence and kindness can take them further than comparison ever could.

What are some words of encouragement for new people/families joining Our Diamond Miss?

I would tell them “You’ve got this, trust the process, trust yourself, and let your light shine because the system is not complete without YOU.”

National Grand Talent

When did you start competing with Our Diamond Miss?

I started pageants and Our Diamond Miss at the age of five.

What are you most looking forward to during your reign this year?

I am most looking forward to making memories with all of my queen sisters and representing ODM across the states. I love getting to help all of the littles and spending time with friends both old and new.

What impacts do you hope to make on the contestants?

I hope that I can encourage each and every contestant to have fun and give themselves grace.

ODM is a wonderful family, and we all support each other through our ups and downs.

What are some words of encouragement for new people/families joining Our Diamond Miss?

You may not always walk away with a title, but the friendships and the growth you experience through your struggles will change who you are in more ways than you can imagine.

Jadyn Bo-Xuan Askins

National Supreme Our Diamond Miss

What did you start competing with Our Diamond Miss?

I started competing in pageants when I was four years old. A few months after I turned five, I competed in my first Our Diamond Miss preliminary pageant.

I went on to compete at the Arkansas State pageant where I won AR State Grand Talent. It was there that I met people that would become not only important to my pageant life, but become part of my family.

What impacts do you hope to make on the contestants?

Rasheen Mitchell, Rebecca Zurcher, Shai Cowels and Ebony Mitchell were my earliest mentors in the ODM system.  I tried my best to emulate their modeling and have their stage presence.

However, it was their kindness off stage that had the biggest influence on me.  I, along with every little girl they came in contact with, wanted to be just like them.  I learned how to support and encourage other contestants.  I learned how to be an ODM girl.

What are you most looking forward to during your reign this year?

This year of reign is about forming bonds with my sister queens and setting an example for the younger girls of what it means to wear this crown and represent a system that you love.

What are some words of encouragement for new people/families joining Our Diamond Miss?

Our Diamond Miss is a competitive pageant system.  For newcomers it can be overwhelming to see this level of talent.  Don’t be afraid to ask for advice.  The family atmosphere in ODM is the greatest.  People are willing to help you.  You just have to ask, listen and practice, practice, practice.
